Announcing 'Okkervil River & The Antlers Band Together', a live LP
Available for preorder now. Also a bunch of other live-related things.
Very pleased to announce Okkervil River & The Antlers Band Together, a live album compiled from our joint tours last year.
Preorder vinyl, and/or download immediately here.
For those who never saw the show in-person (or have yet to on our upcoming tour), these songs are taken from the collaborative portion of the show, where we join forces to become an Antlers-Okkervil supergroup.
We spent a lot of time winnowing down the many live recordings from those shows to find the very best performances, and the end result truly gives the feeling of being there.
The album is available to preorder now on peach vinyl, which includes an immediate digital download (also available separately).
And for those who stream, Band Together will be released on all digital streaming services on June 6 via Field’s Edge (vinyl will ship on or before that date).

On that subject, we’re doing another US tour with Okkervil River this summer and it’s coming up fast. All these shows are on sale so best get your tickets if you want to see us do this very special show one last time.
And speaking of live albums, Hospice at Ten: Live in Chicago is beginning to ship to those who pre-ordered it back when we announced it earlier this year. I just received my copies and they’re looking and sounding outstanding.
You can order vinyl and/or download the album here.

Continuing on this theme, Cowboy Sadness just returned from our short pony ride out to Big Ears Festival. We played a handful of shows, with no two performances alike. We spent long drives listening to the uncut recordings that will become LP2. We caught early glimpses of spring down south, with warm afternoons and flowering trees that would still take a few more weeks to reach up north. It was a lovely time, one I hope we get to repeat and expand upon in the future.
Here’s a couple nice polaroids courtesy of David Moore’s recently launched newsletter.

The rest of the polaroids are here.
I’ll leave you with a short video from one of our shows at Big Ears, with immersive projections by Reflections. In quiet moments, I find myself continually returning to the feeling of this space.
