At long last, the debut album by Cowboy Sadness, Selected Jambient Works Vol. 1 is available to hear in its entirety.
You can stream or download it here.
Or perhaps purchase a cassette in limited-edition Big Sky Blue here.
Or if you prefer, a CD here.
Cowboy Sadness is an instrumental collaboration between myself, David Moore (Bing & Ruth) and Nicholas Principe (Port St. Willow). In case you missed the introductory post about Cowboy Sadness and are wondering what this all about, you can get caught up here.
This album means a great deal to me. Our continual getting together “just to play” has now spanned many years and several life-phases, but has somehow remained a joyful constant throughout many shifts and changes.
To take something purely fun and exploratory and dedicate time and energy carefully crafting it into something meaningful is no easy task. I’m so proud of our work and hope you all enjoy listening to the result.
And for those of you in the greater New York region, we’re pleased to announce the debut performance of this music, as part of 24-Hour Drone at Basilica Hudson in Upstate NY May 18-19. Tickets are here.
