Very excited to say we’re bringing this joint Antlers / Okkervil River tour overseas this fall, hitting a handful of cities across the UK and EU.
In case you missed the concept of this tour the first time around, here’s the jist:
We’ll each do our own set (most likely a mix of solo/duo setups), followed by a combined set to close out the evening. The vibe will be intimate and somewhat stripped-down, and the songs will span our respective catalogs.
Tickets for these shows just went on sale today here.
Also, our North American journey starts next week. Some shows have sold out and others are close, so best get a ticket soon if you wanna see it.
Tickets for those shows are here.
UK / EU dates:
26 Oct - Dublin, IE - Opium
27 Oct - Leeds, UK - Brudenell Social Club
28 Oct - Bristol, UK - Bristol Beacon
29 Oct - Brighton, UK - Komedia
30 Oct - London, UK - Union Chapel
3 Nov - Copenhagen, DK - Bremen Teater
4 Nov - Aarhus, DK - Train
Meanwhile, summer has landed early here and dramatic bursts of color are erupting along the sides of roads that were dry and lifeless mere weeks ago.
Spongy Moth Caterpillars are seemingly everywhere, dangling by invisible threads, chewing holes in leaves and giving everyone hives.
We’re turning over the garden beds and diligently watching our seedlings sweep soil aside as the sun pulls them upward.
I’m practicing for the shows most mornings, discovering new feelings in old numbers and considering how more recent ones might fit in alongside them— an attempt to create one long coherent narrative, chronologically disordered but tracing some path nonetheless.
There’s an ever-growing packing list, made by staring out the window until I remember some small, vital item. And somewhere within, that dormant part of me that craves a road trip is stirring.
See you out there.
